Tell us about you: I’m Lesley, I’m a Project Manager in the Property Team. I qualified as an Interior Designer, and long term throughout my career I’ve have moved into more project management work.
Best bit about the role: It’s so different each day. I can be onsite or in the office, and when I’m travelling it can be anywhere in the UK. Our hotels are so different too so there’s great variety. The team are great – a bit mad – but great support! I’d worked alongside RBH in the past on a few of their properties, and always heard they were a fab company to work for.
You played a huge part in refurbing the Glasgow Head Office. Tell us about that: So fun to be involved, especially as a new start. I was new to the company, so it was great to have input and throw some colour around! It was a nice way for me to get to know people, especially when getting input from them on what they wanted. Everyone knows me now!
What’s your own personal go to design style? It changes depending on the building I’m working in; I’ve always enjoyed restoring traditional buildings. I absolutely love colour - I can’t do beige walls! I never want to see magnolia make a comeback!
How would the team describe you: Hard one, I did ask my husband this! Sociable, caring, happy and very chilled!
If you were stuck on a desert island with 3 of your teammates, who would you pick and why: Probably Rich – an easy one – he’s an ex-marine. His survival skills would be better than mine. Stevie because of his DIY skills and Amanda because her chat is epic – that would definitely help pass the time!
