A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER AT THE GANTRY LONDON HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
Basic computer skills including connecting laptops to projectors or operating a meeting room PA System.
Previous experience of working in a hotel or similar environment, as it’s highly valuable for this role, and Hilton experience is preferable but not necessary.
Basic Health & Safety and Fire Safety trainings, and knowledge of the fire system types that are available in hotels.
Experience in maintenance skills such as basic plumbing, painting & electricity.

To succeed in the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will need the following qualities and skills.
We are looking for a multi-skilled handyperson (plumbing, mason, carpenter) who has basic electrical qualification which is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have good customer service as has to interact with our guests, so we are looking for dynamic candidates with a positive personality.
