A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOST AT STK ROOFTOP

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following. 

• Familiar with booking systems e.g. Opentable, Fork, 
• Organize seating plan on booking system before and during service.
• Communicate guest’s notes and info to managers, chef and servers during service 
• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival, using guest name if known and recognizing any regular guests.
• Outreach visiting other business in the local area to promote STK
• Maintain company standards at all times.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...

To succeed in the role of Host, you will need the following qualities and skills. 

• • 2/3 years experience required 
  • Be 18 years of age 
  • Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests 
  • Must have knowledge of dining room 
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time 
  • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver items, weighing 20 to 25 pounds 
  • Some knowledge of floor plan system e.g Opentable
