A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT AT HOLIDAY INN BARROW IN FURNESS
Reporting to the Duty Manager you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Working on a busy Reception Desk.
- Working within a busy Bar & Restaurant.
- Being part of a small team who works together effectively to run the hotel.
- Shift work including a mix of early, mid and late shifts, dependent on the business levels within the hotel.
- Weekend working and bank holiday working as part of this role.
- Providing True Hospitality to all guests to ensure they have the best experience whilst accomodating the hotel.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of a General Services Assistant you will need the following qualities and skills.
- Previous Reception and F&B Experience is preferred, but transferable skills are also considered.
- Flexibility in terms of working mornings, mids and late shifts which suit the business needs.
- Working within a previous branded hotel is extremely desirable.
