A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE ASSISTANT AT CROWNE PLAZA DOCKLANDS
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be required to work shift patterns of morning and afternoon. As Food and Beverage Assistant you will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be a crucial part of our guests’ journey. You must be self-motivated and be personable in the way you deal with people, who believe in delivering the best possible standards in guest service. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills to handle guest complaints and show you care by being thoughtful in the way you welcome and connect with guests.
Your key areas responsibility will include:
- Ensure smooth and efficient running of the service within the restaurant, room service, bar and the conference rooms.
- Meet, greet and seat all guests in a friendly manner and maintain the highest level of hospitality/ customer care and be fully conversant with the hotel complaint procedure.
- Keep all the Food and Beverage outlet clean, meet the food hygiene regulations at all times and maintain the service area clean; inform customers of specials and menu changes.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel the customers will enjoy.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and restaurant functions and services
