A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST SUPERVISOR AT CROWNE PLAZA READING
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- To ensure the smooth running of breakfast service and those standards are maintained at all times.
- To oversee and manage the breakfast service team, including servers and host/hostesses.
- To assign duties, provide training and guidance, and ensure smooth coordination among team members.
- To ensure that all guests are dealt with in a professional manner in accordance with company standards.
- To ensure that all guest queries/complaints are dealt with in a professional manner.
- To meet and greet guests on arrival at the hotel.
- To maximise sales by upselling at every opportunity.

To succeed in the role of Breakfast Supervisor, you will need the following qualities and skills.
We are looking for someone who can communicate well with others, can carry out instructions, is able to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests. Experience in hospitality is preferable but training is provided.
