The Exciting Opportunity

The position of Conference Porter has become available at Belton Woods Hotel, Grantham. Reporting into the Conferencing & Events Manager, you will be responsible for

  • To assist in the provision of the hotel conference and banqueting facilities offering the highest professional standards of service for our customers and maximising profitability.
  • Set up Conference and Banqueting rooms in accordance with the function requirements and in accordance with Company and hotel standards and procedures.
  • Service and break down Conference and Banqueting rooms in accordance with Company and hotel standards and procedures.

The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be willing to learn and show that they care.

Belton Woods Hotel is located in the outskirts of the market town of Grantham, within an hour’s drive of the historic city of Lincoln and the bustling city of Nottingham.  Set in 475 acres of beautiful grounds, this is the perfect hotel for a leisure break, featuring: 45 holes of golf course, excellent conference facilities that can hold up to 500 delegates at any one time, multiple restaurants and modern leisure and spa facilities.  This hotel features 136 spacious bedrooms that are sure to wow any guest.   We pride ourselves on investing in our people and delivering outstanding customer service.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who can communicate well with others, can carry out instructions, is able to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests. Experience of a working in a Conference & Events department is preferable but full training is provided.
