The Exciting Opportunity

The position of Conference and Events Coordinator has become available at The Cheltenham Chase Hotel for maternity cover, fixed term.

 

Reporting into the Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking initial conference and events enquiries through varied channels, and follow correct contract procedures.
  • Building a strong rapport with clients, in order to drive sales and profitability for the hotel.
  • Liase directly with the Operations team to help the team deliver all bookings successfully.
  • Participating in daily telesales to capture potential revenue.
  • Carry out hotel show rounds to showcase the hotels facilities to its fullest potential.
  • Support your Events Sales Manager in achieving monthly and yearly budgets.

 

The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be willing to learn and show that they care and be available to start beginning of April 2019.

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who can communicate well with others, can carry out instructions, is able to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests. Experience working within a similar hotel environment is strongly preferred.

Pref: 1 year Experience as Sales Coordinator or similar.
