** New Hotel Opening ** - Maintenance Assistant- Hilton Aberdeen TECA (The Event Complex Aberdeen)

 

The Exciting Opportunity

We are currently looking for exceptional candidates to join us in the role of Maintenance Assistant at the newly built Hilton Aberdeen TECA.

As Maintenance Assistant, you will be reporting to Cluster Maintenance Manager , you will be a team player with a positive approach to problem solving. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Maintenance shift, managing a range of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks reported from all departments of the hotel and guests.

A good experience of basic handyman skills in plumbing, painting, decorating, carpentry & electrical works is required for you to be considered. You will learn to manage guest expectations and delivering great guest satisfaction. You will be required to have a good command of the English Language, you will be communicating with various contractors, team members and guests. The successful applicant for this role will be able to display great flexibility, communication skills, and deliver excellent customer service.

 

Where Will You Be Working?

 

Your new role of Maintenance Assistant will see you working in the newly built Hilton Aberdeen on the site of The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA). 

 

This role will be one of the new appointments for the brand new 200 bedroom Hilton in Aberdeen, which is scheduled to open summer 2019. The hotel, which will form part of The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA), will include an executive lounge and up to 10 meeting rooms of variable sizes along with a cocktail bar, two very stylish speciality restaurants, fitness centre and wet leisure and spa facilities.

 

The multi-million pound project, which is being delivered by Aberdeen City Council and its development partner, Henry Boot Developments, and being constructed by Robertson, will provide a new world-class facility for Scotland. The 12,500-capacity arena will host major events including, conferences, exhibitions and music concerts.  The new facility is expected to contribute an additional 4.5 million visitors, £113 million of visitor spend and £63m net GVA to the Scottish economy.  It will also result in the creation of 352 full-time-equivalent permanent positions by year 10 of operations.
